Asymptotic Analysis of a Rubber Wedge Contact with a Rigid Notch

Abstract：The strain energy function of large deformation given by Y.C. Gao(1990) is used to analyze a rubber wedge contact with a rigid notch. The singular character near wedge tip and the relationship between singularity and material constant are discovered. The asymptotic equations are solved with numeric method. The deformation and the distribution of stresses near wedge tip are obtained.
