Number of One-Faced Maps on the Projective Plane

Abstract：It is well-known that finding explicit expressions fo r any kind of nonplanar maps is very difficult. In this paper we count the numbe r of rooted maps with only one face on the projective plane and find an exacet e xpression with up to two parameters for such maps.
