Abstract:Xi Jinping's important expositions on the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin adhere to and develop the Marxist view of ecological civilization,summarize and reflect on the experience of the Party leading the people in harnessing the Yellow River,respond to and address the challenges to ecological security in the Yellow River Basin,and inherit and carry forward the fine traditional culture of the Yellow River Basin.They provide fundamental guidelines for effectively preventing and defusing ecological security risks in the Yellow River Basin and improving the overall pattern of comprehensive and coordinated ecological protection of the Yellow River.The essential requirement of these important expositions is to uphold the unity of the Party's leadership and putting the people first;the key approach is to integrate overall planning with adaptation to local conditions;the fundamental driving force is to promote the mutual reinforcement of deepening reform and opening up;and the core goal is to pursue the coordination of ecological protection and economic development.In the new era and on the new journey,we should strengthen the protection and restoration of the ecological environment in the Yellow River Basin,promote the transformation and utilization of resources and energy in the Yellow River Basin,uphold the inheritance and innovation of ecological culture in the Yellow River Basin,consolidate the foundation and advantages of ecological prosperity for the people in the Yellow River Basin,and strive to write a brilliant chapter of the Yellow River in advancing Chinese-style modernization.
