Interpretation of Chinese Civilization in the Oracle Bone Scripts of Yinxu

Abstract：As a"living fossil"of Chinese civilization,the Yinxu Oracle Bone Scripts have value far beyond their function as a writing system.They provide tangible evidence for the existence of the Shang Dynasty,establishing the starting point of the verifiable history of Chinese civilization.With its mature writing system,it lays the foundation for the inheritance of Chinese characters and contains the genetic code of Chinese civilization.Its rich inscriptions reconstruct a comprehensive panorama of Shang society,showing the primitive embryonic form of Chinese ideological and cultural traditions.In the new era,through being inscribed on the"Memory of the World Register",digital empowerment and IP innovation,the Yinxu Oracle Bone Scripts have become an important carrier for strengthening cultural confidence and promoting cultural inheritance and innovation.
