ZHANG Peixin
Abstract:Wang Xuezhong's poetry is rooted in reality and the authentic texture of grassroots life, while questioning social ideals and demonstrating the poet's lofty artistic pursuit and conscious sense of historical responsibility. His poetry includes the vital"cries"of individual life experiences, the persistent shouts of concern for external reality, and the idealistic appeals in the face of era changes. As an important realistic poet in contemporary Chinese poetry,Wang Xuezhong's poetry directly faces the essence of life and the complexity of human nature, both eulogizing the perseverance and optimism of the working people and criticizing various injustices in society.
