Abstract:From the perspective of ecological systems theory, this study analyzes the increasingly prominent physical and mental health issues of children and adolescents. It finds that physical education classes,as an important pathway to promote their physical and mental health, fail to exert their due role due to constraints from multiple factors such as family, academic pressure, and society.Sports competitions not only set clear educational goals, effectively coordinate multiple subjects, and deeply integrate social resources, but also stimulate individual intrinsic motivation at the micro level and form a synergistic education joint force among families, schools, and society at the macro level, making them an ideal pathway to promote the physical and mental health of children and adolescents. However, due to the lack of effective top-level design and overall coordination at the macro level, current sports competitions face many practical constraints in organizational models, evaluation systems, and guarantee mechanisms, limiting the exertion of their value. The study recommends:at the policy level, constructing a diversified competition and scientific evaluation system;at the collaboration level, improving the multi-party coordination and social security mechanisms;at the technical level, applying intelligent technologies to ensure competition fairness and organizational efficiency.
