Mechanical Characteristics Analysis and Experimental Verification of Commercial Vehicle Leaf Spring

Abstract：To study the mechanical properties of commercial vehicle leaf springs,Ansys was first used to numerically simulate and analyze their static and dynamic mechanical properties,and the influence of friction on static stiffness was explored.Then,bench tests were conducted to verify and analyze the leaf springs.The results show that the data from the bench tests are basically consistent with those from the finite element simulation,with small errors.
