Abstract：Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the CPC has led the people of all ethnic groups in pursuing,developing,and realizing democracy,and put forward Whole-Process People's Democracy-a crystallization of wisdom from theoretical,institutional,and practical innovations.As an innovative theory forged through the"second combination"(integrating the basic principles of Marxism with China's specific realities and fine traditional Chinese culture),Whole-Process People's Democracy embodies the organic unity of Marxist democracy theory,China's practical experience,and fine traditional cultural resources.The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee emphasized the"Seven Focuses,"including focusing on developing Whole-Process People's Democracy,charting the course for further comprehensive deepening of reform.Examining Whole-Process People's Democracy from the perspective of the"second combination"helps grasp the latest theoretical achievements of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics,and understand the viewpoints,methods,and strategic arrangements contained in General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on Whole-Process People's Democracy.
