Abstract:Teachers' ability to collaborate in education is a key focus of basic education reform.Taking two student teachers majoring in preschool education from University A as cases, this study explores the types of cooperative learning among student teachers and their influencing factors based on the interaction ritual chain theory, through three months of non-participatory observation, interviews, and collection of physical materials. The findings reveal that student teachers exhibit two types of cooperative learning:"passive superficial cooperation"and"active superficial cooperation".The former is characterized by weak emotional solidarity due to the lack of identity symbols, while the latter suffers from a deviation from the common focus due to insufficient content symbols. The dual nested factors of symbolic reserves and cultural institutions influence the forms of cooperative learning among student teachers.Accordingly,it is suggested to improve the support system for student teachers' cooperative learning from three aspects:symbolic accumulation, curriculum support, and cultural environment.
