An Analysis of the Hongqi Canal Spirit from the Perspective of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture:Based on the Prominent Characteristics of Chinese Civilization

Abstract：Forged in the 1960s when the Communist Party of China led the people of Lin County in building the Hongqi Canal,the Hongqi Canal Spirit is an integral part of the CPC's spiritual lineage and a concentrated embodiment of the prominent characteristics of Chinese civilization:continuity,innovation,unity,inclusiveness,and peacefulness.In the new era,carrying forward this spirit must be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Culture,which requires strengthening cultural confidence,practicing the"two innovations"principle,enhancing practical cultivation,inheriting its cultural genes,and infusing it with new contemporary elements to contribute to writing a new chapter of Chinese-style modernization in the Central Plains.
