Abstract:Taking the calculation of agricultural input for pomegranate cultivation in Mengzi City,Honghe Prefecture,Yunnan Province(southern China)and Lintong District,Xi'an City,Shaanxi Province(northern China)as examples, this study calculates and compares carbon emissions during cultivation. It aims to explore carbon emissions and their influencing factors in crop planting, and seek low-carbon development paths. The results indicate that nitrogen fertilizer and pesticide application are the main factors contributing to the warming effect of crop cultivation.Meanwhile, the promotion of new agricultural technologies and the utilization of renewable resources can facilitate efficiency improvement and emission reduction. It is suggested that alongside strengthening agricultural production infrastructure, more proactive policies should be implemented to synergistically advance low-carbon development.
