Abstract:To improve the teaching effect of elastoplastic mechanics, the SPH-FEM coupling numerical simulation technology is introduced into the course teaching.A solid model of explosive welded composite plates is first established via numerical simulation, with material parameters selected appropriately. The welding window of the explosive welded composite plates is then calculated, followed by an analysis of the distributions of velocity, displacement, and pressure during explosive welding, along with the measurement of the collision angle. The velocity, displacement, pressure, and collision angle derived from numerical simulation are basically consistent with theoretical results.Proper application of SPH-FEM coupling numerical simulation technology in elastoplastic mechanics teaching can render complex content more intuitive and vivid, remarkably enhancing students' learning enthusiasm and interest in elastoplastic mechanics.
