Abstract:NiCo-LDH nanocatalysts with varying Ni-Co ratios were synthesized on nickel foam substrates via a one-step hydrothermal method.Their phase composition and morphology were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The influence of elemental composition regulation on electrocatalytic performance was investigated.By tuning the elemental composition, the microstructure of the catalysts was modified. When the Ni∶Co ratio was 4∶4,Ni4Co4-LDH/NF exhibited superior catalytic performance:the dense nanorod structures grown on the electrode surface facilitated active site exposure, intermediate adsorption/desorption,and rapid charge transfer, thereby promoting the oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Electrochemical measurements in 1 mol/L KOH solution revealed that the Ni∶Co=4∶4 nanomaterial achieved an overpotential of only 308 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm-2,with a Tafel slope of 102.69 mV·dec-1.Moreover,after a 14-hour constant-current stability test,no significant changes in catalytic activity or morphology were observed. These results confirm that the Ni∶Co=4∶4 nanomaterial possesses excellent OER activity and stability.
