Analysis of the Role of Social Investigation in the Land Revolution Path of the Communist Party of China
WANG Can
Abstract:Social investigation has been a traditional method for the Communist Party of China(CPC)to identify and resolve issues, serving as a critical source of information for policy formulation.Following the failure of the National Revolution in 1927,the CPC shifted its focus to rural areas. However, the Communist Party, lacking experience and strength, had insufficient understanding of Chinese rural areas. How to address the issues faced by farmers? How to establish a rural revolutionary base? How to implement the correct policies for the land revolution? These were urgent issues faced by the Party.Mao Zedong and other communists conducted indepth investigations in rural areas, researching unclear issues within the Party and integrating the genuine interests and needs of farmers into the Party's policies. As an important method for the Communist Party of China to formulate policies and understand the effects of policy implementation, social investigation not only provides approaches and pathways for solving farmers'issues but also ensures the effective implementation of correct policies within the Party.
