The Unique Connotation,Value Appeal and Practical Orientation of Chinese-style Urban Modernization

Abstract：Urban modernization is a microcosm and a typical representation of Chinese-style modernization led by the Communist Party of China,and it is an important part of Chinese-style modernization.Chinese-style urban modernization is essentially different from urban modernization in Western countries.Its unique connotation is manifested in two aspects:the modernization of urban construction and the modernization of urban governance.The modernization of urban construction and the modernization of urban governance complement each other.While promoting the modernization of urban construction,the modernization of urban governance capabilities also develops correspondingly.In terms of the value purpose of urban modernization,it is to meet the needs of the people and promote urban development.In terms of the practical orientation of urban modernization,it always adheres to implementing and fulfilling the new development concepts,and guarantees the coordinated development of people's material and spiritual lives.
