On the Dramatic Elements in Li Qingzhao's Ci

Abstract：During the Song Dynasty,various literary genres flourished,with a phenomenon of mutual reference and absorption of artistic elements between Song Ci and drama.The incorporation of dramatic factors into the creation of ci enhances its expressiveness and introduces a sense of drama.The renowned female poet Li Qingzhao fully integrates dramatic elements into her lyrical compositions,primarily reflected in conflicting dramatic plots,colloquial dramatic language,rich dramatic actions,and sudden dramatic suspense.Li Qingzhao's tumultuous life experiences provide substantial material for the dramatic nature of her Ci.She commonly employs everyday language to align with the rhythm,integrating quotidian expressions into her verses,enriching the depiction of real life.Analyzing Li Qingzhao's Ci from a dramatic perspective will offer a new direction for appreciating her work.
