Measurement and Spatial-temporal Evolution Analysis of High-Quality Development of Cultural and Tourism Industry in Anhui Province

Abstract：The high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry serves as the inevitable route to realizing the construction of a strong cultural and tourism nation.After analyzing the theoretical connotations of the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry,a comprehensive evaluation system is constructed,incorporating four first-level indicators,namely industry scale,industry structure,service quality,and environmental protection,along with 14 second-level indicators.By applying the entropy value method and Theil index,a comprehensive measurement and analysis are carried out on the high-quality development level and spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of the cultural and tourism industry in Anhui Province from 2011 to 2022.The results show that,overall,the cultural and tourism industry in Anhui Province presents a high-quality development trend.Hefei City has the highest level.Cities integrated into the Yangtze River Delta have stable development.Cities in northern Anhui have made progress but still remain at a relatively low level.Huangshan City,affected by multiple factors,has witnessed a decline in the high-quality development level of its cultural and tourism industry.From 2011 to 2022,the regional differences in the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry in Anhui Province mainly originate from within-region differences,with the central Anhui region exhibiting the highest within-region differences,while the Theil indices of the northern and southern Anhui regions are relatively low.
