Abstract：Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the protection,inheritance,and promotion of Yellow River culture.He has visited the Yellow River Basin multiple times and delivered important speeches and instructions on the protection,inheritance,and promotion of this culture.Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era serves as a guiding framework for the protection,inheritance,and promotion of Yellow River culture.In advancing the cause of protecting,inheriting and promoting the Yellow River culture,we must deeply understand the scientific connotation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's statement that"Yellow River culture is the root and soul of the Chinese nation",fully leverage the favorable conditions for its protection and promotion,explore various approaches,and further strengthen efforts to protect,inherit and promote Yellow River culture.
