Abstract：In the 1950s,against the backdrop of Western economic blockade and trade embargo,New China actively explored overseas markets and developed trade with other countries.The foreign trade work of New China not only accelerated the recovery and development of the national economy and promoted socialist construction,but also presented a brand new image of a socialist country in the world.This image has helped New China win the recognition of not only overseas Chinese and Hong Kong and Macao compatriots,but also more and more countries and people,laying the foundation for the subsequent opening up and the resolution of the Hong Kong and Macao issues.
