Abstract:This paper addresses the issue of microbial corrosion in concrete structures within sewage engineering by deploying electrochemical technology to deposit copper compounds on the concrete surface, thereby providing anti-corrosive properties.Through electrodeposition experiments and microbial inhibition tests using the plate colony counting method,we analyze the impact of deposition time and current density on the efficiency of copper composite film deposition and the antibacterial performance of concrete. The findings indicate that the electrodeposition technique exhibits robust antibacterial capabilities, with all samples achieving an inhibition rate exceeding 70%.The effectiveness of antibacterial action increases with longer deposition times and higher current densities, reaching an inhibition rate of 89.5%at a current density of 5 A/m2 after 5 days of deposition.
