Abstract：Spiritual character of self-confidence and self-improvement of the Chinese nation has provided strategic favorable conditions for the current development of our country.Self-confidence and self-improvement originate from the historical accumulation of Chinese civilization,the indomitable struggle history of the party leading the people since modern times,theoretical innovation based on the practice of the CPC,and the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.To carry forward the spirit of self-confidence and self-improvement in the new era,we should follow the guidance of ideals and beliefs,firmly adhere to the Four Self-confidence,achieve"political strength","theoretical strength"and"ability strength",use self-confidence and self-improvement to gather consensus,and mobilize the great power needed to comprehensively complete the Chinese path to modernization.
