Transcending Boundaries:A Post-human Reading of Orfeo

Abstract：Post-humanism represents the fundamental change of man's mode of thinking.The development of high technology blurs and even eliminates the boundary of human and non-human.The concepts of post-humanism,such as transcending life,crossing border and the connection of everything are embodied in Orfeo by Richard Powers.From the perspective of post-humanism,this paper analyzes the multi-relationship between human and non-human which is illustrated in the novel with the intention to draw attention to the post-human vision of harmonious coexistence and interdependence across species.
