Decent Work Theory with Chinese Characteristics

Abstract：Although Marx did not explicitly propose the concept of decent work,his discourse on labor value theory adequately reflects respect for workers'labor,recognition of their labor,and sympathy for them.Therefore,Marx's theory of labor value is the essence of decent work,and decent work is the further spiritual inheritance and promotion of labor value theory.This article extensively discusses the theoretical origin of decent work based on Marx's discourse on the meaning of labor,capitalist exploitation,labor freedom and liberation,and alienated labor.This study constructs a theory of decent work with Chinese characteristics from three aspects:the core significance,basic content,and ultimate goal.
