The Application Status of Agricultural Byproduct Feeds in Animal Production

Abstract：With the increasing global food crisis,the decline of traditional feed supply,the rising prices,and the urgent need for a long-term feed supply in animal production,the utilization of agricultural by-products as animal feed has emerged as one of the primary solutions to address the shortage of feed resources in animal husbandry.Given the abundant production of agricultural by-products in our country,it is possible to employ appropriate methods to incorporate them into animal breeding in order to compensate for the shortage and high cost of animal feed.This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of nutritional value of different categories of agricultural by-products,as well as their current application in animal production,by synthesizing research findings from both domestic and international studies.The ultimate goal is to offer practical insights for the effective utilization of agricultural by-products in animal breeding.
