Abstract：The number and growth rate of the elderly in China both rank first in the world.Accidental falls among the elderly have become a significant threat to their life and health..The medical outcome of falls largely relies on the response and rescue time.In this study,a wearable elderly fall monitoring device based on STM32 and NB-IoT technology was developed.By integrating multiple sensors,the device can detect and determine if the user experiences an accidental fall while also monitoring other parameters such as the user's heart rate.When a fall is detected,the device activates a local alarm and automatically notify a pre-set emergency contact person.This enables swift response and rescue,minimizing the potential casualties resulting from accidental falls..
