Abstract：Based on the running mode of the independent college and the training goal, combined with the prac?tice of the independent college mathematical modeling competition and education, analysis the necessity of the independent colleges to carry out the mathematical modeling competition and education , and based on the math?ematical modeling education and guidance of the competition practice, the author put forward some ways of pro?moting the applied talents training effectiveness of independent institute by mathematical modeling education and competition.
