The Impact of Urbanization on the Living Energy Consumption

Abstract:Household energy consumption and the process of urbanization, is closely related with from 1983 to 2012 data for empirical analysis, found that there exists a stable long-run equilibrium relationship between the two, and two performance for bidirectional Granger causes and effects of urbanization on household energy con?sumption more. The error correction model the results not only show that urbanization has influence on household energy consumption, also shows that the residential energy consumption is also influenced by its own. variance decomposition results confirm the long-term impact of urbanization on the consumption of energy consumption, in order to promote the construction of urbanization recommendations.
