Abstract：In accordance with the basic Hydraulic theories, this paper introduces a formula for calculat ing the rising water level of the rainwater piping system with submerged discharge.Combined with the piping de ?sign of some harbour district, It also proposes measures like enlarging the pipes should be taken in the circum ?stances of submerged discharge,In order to reduce the banked-up water level adverse effects on damage.
