Status and Development Tendency of 2:17 Type Rare-earth Cobalt Based High Temperature Permanent Magnetic Materials

Abstract：Recently, development of permanent magnetic materials with working temperature above 673 K was put forward for the application of national defence and military technology. One promising candidate of 2:17 type rare-earth cobalt based permanent magnets was studied intensively because of its high magnetic properties, high Curie temperature, good corrosion resistance and thermal stability. This article mainly introduced the develop?ment background and status of 2:17 type rare-earth cobalt based permanent magnetic materials, in the end, the development and prospect status of rare earth permanent magnetic materials was given.
