Design of a Single-row Angular Contact Ball Bearing

Abstract：The design of angular contact ball bearing involves many structural parameters. The determination of primary parameters of the steel ball, the outer and inner rings is mainly discussed. According to customer require?ments, the design methods introduced in ZYB28-98 for the angular contact bearings are used to determine the re?quired diameter and the number of steel balls, and its radial rated load is calculated. Then, the procedure for cal?culating the curvature radii and the diameters of both inner and outer raceways, and the rib diameters of both in?ner and outer rings and other parameters are introduced in detail.
