Explore the Tendency of the Regulation of American Cable Industry

Abstract：With the development of the American cable industry, the regulation goes through a bound of change. Through analysis we can find out that the regulation keeps changing with the changes of contradiction. Three prin-cipal contradictions among cable TV with broadcast network, customer and telecom are the progress of the regula-tion's source of power. Media convergence and OTT video have a strong influence on the development of cable TV in the new period. And we can predict that the future regulation emphasis of the American cable industry will be the two parts.
