The Aim and Norm of Yuju Translation

Abstract：Chinese traditional Xiqu translation is currently a field that receives little attention, and the same is true of local Xiqu translation . Yuju is an important part of the Central Plains Culture in China, yet the quantity, scale, quality of Yuju translation studies are to be improved. To enhance the cultural soft power and construct a culture superpower, intensifying emphasis on research into Yuju translation is essential, and also the realistic de?mand of cultural exchanges with the outside world. Yuju translation should take culture communication as the starting point, and forge translation norms from the perspective of the translator's subjectivity.
