Abstract：Environmental emergency monitoring can timely and accurate release of information, provide the sci?entific data for the leadership, which plays in the treatment of environmental pollution accidents is very impor?tant. This paper discusses the environmental emergency monitoring role, task and emergency monitoring depart?ments should take before and after environmental pollution accident measures, analysis of the current situation of the emergency monitoring, emergency monitoring is put forward to solve the problem, the purpose is to make the emergency monitoring departments from the ability of basic information, technology and equipment, training and funding channels fully meet the needs of environmental emergency monitoring, for the relevant departments to take measures to control pollution, to win precious time to reduce pollution, reduce the loss and harm caused by the pollution of the maximum.
