Abstract：From the perspective of Orientalism, this essay interprets and analyzes the man named Kirpal Singh. By the character shaping of Kirpal Singh, on the one side, it reproduces the oriental in the eyes of occidental;on the other side, Kirpal recovers from his psychological trauma and reconstructs himself. During the process of tak?ing away Orientalism, it deepens the communication and exchanging among people and pushes forward the ori?ental and the occidental talks and peace process.
