Abstract：Principles of Metal Cutting and Cutters is a important special basis course of machinery design, manu-facturing and automation. The course is rich in content, which has strong theoretical and practical characteristics. In order to enhance the students' conscious activity, we make some exploration of the course on practice teaching.
