Discuss the Issue of"nationalization"from the Development History of Oil Painting in China

Abstract：The development history of oil painting in China is the "nationalization" process at different layers essentially. Its development is closely related to the social system reform of China and the explosion of the New Culture Movement. With the environmental changes in various aspects, such as modern social culture of China, etc, promoted by the efforts of several generations of artists personally, oil painting is always exploring how to develop on the road of "nationalization". In this thesis, with the development history of oil painting in China as the clue, it analyzes and sums up representative works, painters and their theories at different periods, then, explores and sums up the "nationalization" process of Chinese oil painting, finally, further explores and analyzes the nature and future of"nationalization", to explore the development road of Chinese oil painting in the new century.
