Phonetic Study on English Majors in Science and Technology Universities

Abstract：This paper investigates and analyses the pronunciation and intonation of students entering college in 2012 by recording software and speech analysis software. Some problems about pronunciation are found and analyzed in terms of vowels, consonants, intonation and so on. Finally, some proposals are put forward so as to promote the phonetic teaching of English majors.
