The Translation of Water-Image in Chinese Classical Poems from the Perspective of "the blank"

Abstract：This paper argues that Wolfgang Iser's concept of "Blank" is applicable for analyzing literary translation. Drawing from the concept of "Blank", this paper analyzes the necessity and main patterns of retaining the blanks in the translation of Chinese classical poems.
