The Reconciliation of Aestheticism and"new rogue socialist": Magic Island Semimonthly
Abstract：The Magic community,established in 1926 by Ye Lingfeng and Pan Hannian , "Magic Island" semimonthly as the positions of their main activities . The upper part called "Ivory Tower" edited by Ye Lingfeng and advocate aestheticism;The lower part called the "Crossroads" edit from Pan Hannian responsible and promote "new rogue socialist". This adaptation of the "Magic Island" semimonthly, symbolizes the trend of urbanization of shanghai aestheticism, also shows the new Shanghai style writer's style gradually forming which different with the school of mandarin duck and butterfly .
