A Reality-confronting Masterpiece --Reflections on the Novel "Fight for Top Students" by Luo Weizhang
Abstract：With an analysis of the images of the teachers created in the novel "Fight for Top Students"--Fei Yuanzhong, the Chinese language and literature teacher, who is timid and overcautious and is concerned only with the students" scholastic achievementsthis; Zheng Li, the English teacher, who always strives to outdo others in everything and almost a workaholic, yet can not win respect of the students; Mo Fanzhong, another Chinese language and literature teacher, who has a clear awareness of the reality, but is unable to do anything about it, this itarticle points out that the living state of the top students under the present college entrance examination system is worrying -- they can not withstand the crushing burden and become almost crazy. On the basis of this analysis, this article makes a conclusion that this novel written by Luo Weizhang shows an intense concern on reality and it gives an expression to possess.
