Methylene Blue Spectrophotometric Method for the Determination of Sulfide in Water
Abstract：Some easily ignored procedures for the determination of sulfides in water using methylene blue spectrophotometric method were studied in this paper,such as the stability of the standard solution,the color development conditions,as well as other factors which could have an effect on the determination of sulfides.The operating technique was standardized,accuracy and precision were improved.The method of linear range were 0.0~0.8mg/L,the detection limit was 0.008 mg/L,the rate of recovery were 93%~101%,and RSD were 0.8%~4.3%.
