The Research of Tense and Aspect as Anaphora, a Perspective of Cognitive Grammar
Abstract:Traditionally, anaphora refers to the coreference between pronouns, nouns and their antecedents in text. As an important category and semantic form, the organism and possibility to treat both tense and aspect as anaphora does not arouse the interest, not to mention the profound analysis. This paper attempts to draw a general picture based on the basic idea of anaphora with the frame of cognitive grammar initiated by Langacker.
