Intelligent Management System for the Full Life Cycle of Coalbed Methane Wells: Research and Development of Process and Communication Technologies
Abstract:To address challenges such as data silos and delayed decision-making in the full life cycle management of coalbed methane wells, an intelligent closed-loop management system integrating perception-decision-execution was constructed. A five-layer collaborative architecture was adopted to achieve cross-stage data integration and coordinated decision-making. A hybrid data-mechanism-driven production optimization technology was developed, achieving a liquid accumulation early warning accuracy rate exceeding 92%, and a five-level security protection system was established. Through an integrated industrial communication and remote transmission system of terminal-edge-cloud, the system achieved minute-level data collection, millisecond-level verification, and second-level linkage capabilities. In field applications in the Ordos Basin, the system's link availability reached ≥99.98%, control latency was reduced to 1.7 seconds, and daily production per well increased by 94.2%. The decision-making cycle was shortened to 10 minutes, verifying its value in releasing production capacity, cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and remote controllability. It provides technical support for the intelligent transformation of oil and gas fields.
