Development Direction of Lightweight and Robust Explosion-Proof Structure Technology for Coal Mine Robots
Abstract:The technologies of coal mine robot operations and explosion-proofing are widely applied. However, the underground coal mine environment contains explosive substances, and when the concentration of explosive substances mixed with oxygen is within the explosive limit range, an explosion may occur if an ignition source is present. Therefore, an explosion-proof structure is required. The current explosion-proof structures for coal mine robots are heavy, leading to a decrease in the robot's effective power and performance limitations. It is urgently necessary to study lightweight explosion-proof structure technology. In response to the uncontrollable effects of manufacturing errors and complex mining environments on the lightweight effect of explosion-proof structures, an optimization scheme integrating robust design is proposed. This paper reviews the current research status of explosion-proof technology and structural lightweighting. It combines the DOE experimental design with the Taguchi robust design method to establish a collaborative design approach for explosion-proof structures that is both lightweight and robust.
