Research and Development of Functional Safety Technology for Electrical Equipment in Integrated Mining Workfaces
Abstract:To address the core bottleneck of electrical equipment safety in integrated mining workfaces that restricts unmanned mining, and to improve the current situation of lack of safety control strategies underground and insufficient full life cycle management, a solution centered on the functional safety standard system is proposed based on international standards such as IEC 61508 and ISO 13849. A complete framework covering risk analysis, safety level determination, and redundant architecture design is established. By adopting dual constraints of hardware fault tolerance (HFT ≥ 1) and safety failure fraction (SFF ≥ 99%), SIL3 level protection is achieved. Modular safety function design and bus-based safety communication are used to enhance system reliability. Verification through typical scenarios such as hydraulic support locking and coal cutter emergency stop shows that the scheme meets the SIL3 safety level requirements, with significant improvements in hardware failure protection capability and system reliability, providing effective assurance for the safe operation of underground equipment.
