Design Improvement of the Head Chain Wheel Assembly of a Movable Scraper Conveyor
Abstract：The movable scraper conveyor is mainly used for temporary material transfer in the mine field development. As a temporary transfer point, it connects with the main underground conveyor belt or roadway belt conveyor to achieve material transfer, and can also be used for opening connecting tunnels, functional chambers, and cutting eyes. The movable scraper conveyor uses a wheeled passive traction method for movement, which is flexible in layout, highly intelligent, has a large capacity, and a reliable structure. It solves the problems of difficult movement, small slope angle, and poor heavy-load start-up of traditional belt conveyors, playing a role in safe intelligence, low carbon green, and cost reduction and efficiency enhancement for high-yield and efficient mining operations. The movable scraper conveyor is shown in Figure 1.
