Research and Development of Technology for Gasification Fly Ash Carbon Separation and Resource Utilization with High Efficiency and Application
Abstract:To solve the technical challenges of gasification fine slag with strong water retention, poor reaction activity, and high residual carbon content, a complete set of technology for gasification fly ash carbon separation and resource utilization with high efficiency has been developed. Through the organic combination of a concentration pre-separator and a carbon-fly ash separator screen, the source reduction of solid waste from gasification fine ash is achieved by 50%, and the extracted high-carbon component has a carbon content of ≥70%. Using ultra-fine activation technology, the fine ash particles are ground to 10 μm, which increases the specific surface area of the gasification residual carbon, achieving limited dissociation of carbon embedded in the ash, thereby increasing the contact area between the carbon component and the gasifier agent in the gasifier. Through high ratio slurry preparation and re-gasification, the effective conversion of the carbon component is realized; a demonstration line for directional carbon enrichment extraction of carbon components from gasification fly ash, ultra-fine activation, and coal co-slurry preparation with a capacity of 300 m3/h has been built, which has significant environmental and economic benefits.
