Digital Twin Construction of Fully Mechanized Mining Face Based on 3D Laser Point Cloud
Abstract:To address the demand for precise perception and safe and efficient production in intelligent mining of fully mechanized working faces, a digital twin construction method based on 3D laser point cloud is proposed, aiming to solve the problems of insufficient data accuracy and lagging dynamic updates in traditional modeling. High-density point cloud data are obtained through 3D laser scanning, preprocessed by denoising, registration, and segmentation, and then combined with GIS and CAD technologies to build a 3D model, which is integrated with cloud computing for dynamic updates. A mobile panoramic laser radar and an inspection robot are used to implement differentiated data collection strategies for the working face and tunnels, achieving high-precision 3D reconstruction of coal seam structure and equipment layout. Field tests at Xiaobao dang No. 2 Coal Mine show that the model supports real-time monitoring and optimization of mining strategies, providing a reliable virtual simulation platform for intelligent coal mining, which is of great significance for improving safety production levels and resource recovery rates.
