Abstract：Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Yulin Kekai Coal Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as Kekai Coal Mine) has a recoverable reserve of 1,196.12 Mt in its mine field, with a service life of 85.4 years. The No. 2 coal seam has a recoverable reserve of 646.95 Mt and a service life of 46.2 years. The coal seam adopts the longwall mining method along the strike, comprehensive mechanized mining technology, and full caving method for managing the roof of the working face. The length of the transfer working face is 350 m. To ensure normal face succession, the entire mine is equipped with 4 intelligent fast excavation working faces and 2 comprehensive excavation working faces.
