Research and Application Prospects of Flying Inspection Robots in Underground Coal Mines
Abstract:To address the issues of low efficiency and high risk in manual inspection, as well as low versatility of robots caused by complex environments such as high dust, low illumination, and unstructured terrain in underground coal mines, a modular design approach and structural optimization design technology were adopted. This study investigated autonomous navigation and multi-sensor data acquisition methods suitable for underground coal mine environments, and established an inspection system suitable for complex mine environments. The inspection speed was tested in a simulated mine environment at 3.0 m/s, with maximum measurement errors along the length and height directions of the tunnel being less than 5% and 2%, respectively, meeting the requirements for 3D reconstruction accuracy.
